According to his not-so-little black book, Don Giovanni has seduced thousands of women across Europe. Over the course of a scandalous few days, his misadventures come back to literally haunt him, as Mozart’s brilliant score whirls people in and out of the Don’s midst. Hailey will be covering the role of Donna Elvira in this production.
María de Buenos Aires
January 31 & February 2, 2025 | Capitol Theater, Madison WI
Born in the slums of Buenos Aires “one day when God was drunk,” María turns to the city in a desperate quest for freedom, falling in love with its tango rhythms. A dark, surreal story told in song and dance, this “tango opera” by the legendary Argentine composer Ástor Piazzolla has been widely acclaimed since its 1968 premiere. Hailey will be singing in the Ensemble and covering the title role of María.
The Barber of Seville
November 1 & 3, 2024 | Overature Hall, Madison WI
Everyone’s favorite barber has a new assignment: to ensure happily-ever-after for a nobleman and a young woman trying to outwit her guardian. Featuring multiple disguises, secret missives, and a bit of ingenuity, Rossini’s sparkling comedy is one of the best-loved works in opera. Hailey will be singing the role of Berta and covering the role of Rosina.
